We honestly never thought we’d be able to own our own home - but thanks to Sam and the team at First Home Specialists, that dream became our reality.

From the very beginning, Sam was incredible. He guided us every step of the way, always there to answer every single question Thomas and I had (and trust me, we had a lot!). No matter how overwhelmed or anxious I felt, Sam remained calm, patient, and supportive. He never made us feel like a burden or just another number - he genuinely cared, and that meant the world to us.

What made the experience even more reassuring was knowing Sam had once been in our shoes. He and his partner actually got their start in the property market through First Home Specialists too - so he understood the journey not just as a specialist, but as someone who had lived it himself. That empathy and insight made all the difference.

Sam broke everything down in a way that was easy to understand, helping us feel informed and confident at every stage. Even when doubts or setbacks crept in, he was just a message away - reassuring us, keeping us focused, and reminding us why we started.

We moved into our home on April 15th, 2025, and it still feels surreal. We’ve made it our own and love every moment! We truly have Sam to thank for helping us get here.

This was honestly kind of a stressful (I think mostly for James😆) but an exciting experience. Coming in to this with not much knowledge and deposit of getting into our first family home was a big eye opener and we could not have done this without James and his team. To making our land settlement literally within 1 hour of our contract ending 😣 if that’s not being committed to your clients, I honestly don’t know what is. Nick and James! You guys are amazing! Our 5 year plan to buy a home became a 5 month plan! You guys were consistently reassuring myself and hubby! A dream we never expected to come true! Firstly we'd like to thank you James for going beyond and above for us and continuing to never giving up even when it was difficult. James is literally a superhero to us! Special thanks to Daniel who behind the scenes worked on all our financials to make this happen.

We've gone through several brokers and different companies that promised us the world over the years but First Home Specialist are true specialists in helping to navigate the processes to homeownership.

James gave us straightforward, honest information and realistic expectations on what to expect throughout the whole journey is still supporting us while we build.

If you think you'll never own your own home then you need to contact James, we didn't have a crazy amount of savings or have a guarantor but he still managed to help us secure the loan and find the perfect property and house design within our budget.
